Bella and Madison at the Food Bank of WNY

I want to thank everyone who donated to MADISONGIVES this year. The total amount this year was 625 toys and gifts that were dropped off to the Buffalo News. Isabella and myself went to the Food Bank of WNY on 12/28/11 and took them a check in the amount of $474.00.
I want to thank a whole bunch of people for their big donations. Brian and Kim Smith for their great donation, My ortho DMD Peter Rouff in Amherst, NY, My Aunt Mitch, My dads friend Joanne Cole and her family. I know I thanked everyone before but here is a GREAT BIG THANK YOU AGAIN. I know we made a lot of kids a lot happier this year. Also I know that the money is going to go a long way to help people this holiday season.
I want to let people know that this summer I am going to do a car wash for can goods and donations so we can give to the Food Bank of WNY. I want to quot a person I met at the Food Bank today, Jeremy Juhsz, He said that hunger is not just during the holidays it is 365 days a year. I learned that the Food Bank hands out over a million pounds of food a month, so the need is great. Please keep on donating when ever you can. Thanks again.

I want to give a big shout out to Wendy at Room to Spare Storage because she had a box of toys waiting for me to pick up and also lent me her truck to use to drop of all of the donations. Thanks again everyone.
Starpoint School helps out

I am so thankful that my school, Regan Intermediate, (Starpoint School District) was helping out this year with my charity. My principal Mr. Peiffer emailed my flyer to all the teachers and set up a box in the office for people to donate toys. Also Mrs. KIlmer’s 2nd grade class in Fricano took a vote and decided to bring in gifts to be donated to Madisongives instead of doing a gift exchange. Plus my old kindergarten teacher Miss Watson donated some toys. Thanks to my awesome school we collected 96 toys there and it all added up to 585 toys! Thanks everybody!
